The Mustard Seed has been serving the Watertown community for over 30 years. We offer a vast selection of vitamins, supplements, herbs and homeopathics. Our grocery products never contain processed or chemical additives. We only offer organic produce so that our produce will never be comingled with pesticide-treated produce. Our meat selection features grass-fed, growth hormone free beef from a local island farm. We have a vast selection of health and beauty products that are always free of parabens and artificial colors and fragrances and never tested on animals. We pride ourselves in having the best gluten-free selection of products in area. Our vegan-friendly café serves hundreds of guests every week.
Aside from all the wonderful products and services we offer the one main thing that sets our store apart from other grocery stores is the knowledge and resources we provide. We believe in educating the consumer about the products we are offering them. Our employees spend hours of their own personal time educating themselves on our products so that they can pass this information along to the consumer. The consumer will continue to spread the word and help us achieve our mission of giving our community a resource to aid them in living a healthy, sustainable life.

-- We have owned The Mustard Seed since 1997 when it was still located on Washington Street. We are dedicated to bringing the Watertown area and surrounding North Country with only the finest natural and organic foods, vitamins, supplements and health and beauty products. We make a great team as Kelly manages the Cafe and Scott manages the store.

many areas of the store. I am now the Supplement and Health &
Beauty Manager. Being vegetarian since 1993, and vegan since 1999,
brought me into The Mustard Seed as a customer, eventually being hired
to take my sister Renee's place. I enjoy helping customers make healthy
decisions, and doing my best to make sure they get what they need.
